This allows you to browse detailed donor information, including medical history, family medical background, and childhood or adult photos (where available). All egg donors undergo standard genetic testing, with the option for extended screening if required. Once you’ve selected a donor, you can choose from sets of 6, 8, or 12 donor eggs, depending on your treatment plan and clinic requirements.
Step 2: Contact the Ovoria Coordinator
Once you’ve chosen a donor egg, an Ovoria egg donation coordinator will confirm availability and guide you through the next steps. This includes discussing medical requirements, legal aspects, and Ovoria’s guarantee systems. During this stage, we address any concerns regarding pricing, NHS fertility treatment integration, and private fertility options.
Step 3: Sign the Agreement
After finalising details—such as the egg donor, number of oocytes, and any additional genetic testing—you will sign a legal agreement. This contract ensures full transparency regarding your egg donation cycle, confirming your purchase and outlining the next steps in your fertility treatment.
Step 4: Coordinate With Your Fertility Clinic & Arrange Shipping

Your clinic must confirm it is ready to receive the frozen donor eggs, and Ovoria’s logistics team will arrange a secure, hand-carried shipment to ensure the eggs arrive safely and remain viable for your IVF treatment.
Step 5: Embryo Transfer & Pregnancy Testing
For fresh egg donation, the egg donor undergoes ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval, while the recipient prepares their uterine lining with hormone therapy. For frozen donor eggs, your clinic will carefully thaw the oocytes before fertilisation using IVF or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). The resulting embryos are cultured for up to five days before embryo transfer. Around two weeks later, a blood test measuring hCG levels will determine whether the treatment has resulted in a successful pregnancy.
