Step 1. Register Online & Select Your Donor
Begin by creating a Private Client account in our secure online egg donor database. This allows you to explore detailed donor profiles, including medical history, adult and childhood photos (if available), and the number of available oocytes. Each egg donor undergoes standard genetic testing, with the option for extended screening if required. Once you’ve chosen a donor, you can select a set of 6, 8, or 12 eggs based on your treatment plan.
Step 2. Contact the Ovoria Coordinator
After selecting your donor, an egg donation coordinator will confirm availability and guide you through the next steps. This includes discussing medical requirements, legal aspects, and Ovoria’s guarantee systems. During this stage, we address any concerns about pricing, timelines, or clinic coordination.
Step 3. Sign the Agreement
Once all details, including donor type, oocyte quantity, and testing preferences, are finalised, you’ll sign a legal agreement outlining the terms of your egg donation cycle. This ensures complete transparency regarding your donor egg purchase and provides clarity on the next steps in your IVF treatment.
Step 4. Coordinate With Your Fertility Clinic & Arrange Shipping
If you are already working with a fertility clinic in the UK, inform them that you have sourced donor eggs from Ovoria. Your clinic must confirm that it is ready to receive the frozen donor eggs. Ovoria’s logistics team will then coordinate a safe, hand-carried shipment, ensuring your egg bank donation arrives securely and is ready for use in your treatment.
Step 5. Embryo Transfer & Pregnancy Testing
For fresh donor eggs, the egg donor will undergo ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval, while you prepare your uterine lining with hormone therapy. If you are using frozen eggs, your clinic will thaw the oocytes before fertilisation using IVF or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). The resulting embryos are cultured for up to five days, after which a selected embryo is transferred into your uterus. Around two weeks later, a blood test measuring hCG levels will confirm pregnancy.
